Favourite Classic Rock Bands- Led Zeppelin(all 4 of them are excellent at what they do R.I.P. Bonzo)
Favourite Progressive/Experimental Band- The Mars Volta(even though I don't like their new drummer >=(, so stiff)
Guilty Pleasure- Dubstep... (thats right, I like a little bit of wompwomp and bass drops that make me feel that I'm going to pass out)
Favourite Metal Bands - Pantera, Metallica, Iron Maiden (In that order)
Favourite Hip Hop Artist- Fort Minor (they have kickass beats)
Instruments that I play:
Guitar- guitar has been my main instrument of interest. I've been playing since i was 15(around 6 years.) I had been in a couple of bands and played alot of jam sessions with fellow friend musicians and musicians during high school back in the United States(currently in Australia).
Bass- I do doodle a little bit of bass, it is really fun to play. It is one of those instruments that are easy to learn and hard to master. I am still on stage one, haha.
Drums- I picked up drums around 2 and half years ago. Got a starter kit for Christmas and picked up playing pretty quickly. I am decent (I would like to think haha). Recently I moved to Australia so I had to leave the kit behind, so I haven't played in 6 months. I really want to hit stuff!! lol (and make music)
I love the recording aspect of music. The way you can manipulate sound to make it how you want it to sound. Whether you want it to sound crisp and clear or put a shit ton of effects on a track that you get a headache from trying to grasp what the hell you just did. Ha!
