THE SHOW
Pro Juice is a weekly presenter driven online portal and TV series about music, video and multimedia for ‘guerrilla producers’ that want to make, distribute and market their media. An ever expanding demographic, ranging from industry professionals to the legions of creative types who dabble in all forms of digital media.
Informative? Yes. Boring? No!
Pro Juice is fast paced, shoot from the hip, music video style programming. Professionally produced, but alternatively ‘pro-juiced’, original stories cut hard to provide informative and entertaining viewing. With a high use of bold design and new music, Pro Juice visually and sonically represents the medium it is dissecting.
Pro Juice is presented by energetic, creative and arguably humorous, music producer, Arlo Enemark. A natural entertainer and expressive speaker, he guides viewers through the various feature segments, interviews and tutorials.
PRESENTER / CO-PRODUCER
Arlo Enemark is a 25-year-old Melbourne resident producing beats, breaks and mayhem on the Australian electronic music scene. Pro-active in self-production and online promotion and distribution, Arlo is making his way in a competitive and crowded music scene. He has been producing music for over 11 years and started by coding with free software in MS DOS.
Arlo is a natural performer and presenter. He has made a number of music videos for his alter ego “Smile on Impact” and received national radio, television and festival play. His tunes having been picked up by not only the biggest Australian DJs, but internationally as well, his music has spent many weeks in the ARIA club charts
DIRECTOR / CO-PRODUCER
Nick Calpakdjian is a 28-year-old Melbourne based filmmaker. Working primarily as an editor and motion designer he has broadcast credits in documentary (‘Rosa’s Journey’ – SBS and ‘Survival School’ – ABC), Comedy/Drama (‘Bogan Pride’ – SBS) and magazine television series (‘Hooked on Adventure’ – Ch10, ‘MXTV’ – NBN), TVC’s and music videos for commercial networks and subscription television.
Independently, Nick has self-produced, directed, edited and/or distributed documentaries (Scott Balson – Enemy of the Smart State), DVD’s (Broken – MGM Distribution) and music videos for SonyBMG and Rubber Records
(Pete Murray, DJ Peril, Inga Liljestrom).
Nick has also been fortunate to be funded through Film Victoria to complete a Visual FX internship with Republic Films (2003), an attachment with Abracadabra Films as an editor (2006) and the recipient of a Buzz Grant through the Australian Council of Arts to Produce and Direct a music video for independent art-rock group Greyn (2003 - which was subsequently distributed nationally on DVD, broadcast through ACMI and various television networks).
