Im a hobbiest muso and producer. Have played in bands for years as a bass player (styles ranging from blues to industrial). Don't have a huge interest in the recording process but love the mixing process. Also love writing songs from scratch and building them up.. they may not be great, but it is pretty satisfying. Can't remix to save myself and my dj'ing skills are non-existant.
Professionally I am an IT Problem Manager working for Unisys
Anyway I am currently in the process of down sizing, from lots of studio gear and toys to an ASUS EEE PC with FL studio and Some NI plugs (i see lots of rendering in my future). WHY? because my wife and I are off overseas in september 2010 for a year or maybe more.
