Don't pick on the new kid...

Hey guys,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd quickly introduce myself.

My name's Connor. I got involved in sound engineering through a youth program at a local music centre. I'm still a rookie, but I've learnt a lot the past few months and have had some great experiences mixing for some of my favourite local bands. The venue is pretty well equipped; I use a Midas (poss. Venice?) desk, and mostly Shure microphones. It's a pretty responsive room, which can be a bit tricky, and it's small (250-300 capacity), but it's nice, and I always seem to get an alright mix IMO.

I hope to learn a lot from you guys and have some of my questions answered!

Welcome, mate. Sounds like you're getting some great hands on experience - best way to learn IMO. Also sounds like some great gear to be learning on!
