Hey! I'm from Russia, so sorry for my bad English. I just want to present my demo-album. I'd like to get reviews from you, especially about mixing. I see a lot of mistakes in it, but your reviews are very important for me.

Please, take part in the poll above.

Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed reply - we've all been a bit hermit crab like round these parts.

So, what sort of feedback are you looking for? Maybe pick one track and post what you think needs attention - bit time intensive to critique a hole EP in one go.

The tracks sound good, the mix is pretty slick. I think the tracks musically don't speak to me personally and i can't quite pick up any sort of theme... i was waiting for some metal like vocals or a growl here and there, but didn't get there.

Well, I'll try to explain.

I tagged this thread by "instrumental" keyword, so there are no vocals here (and growl).

As for sort of feedback, I need some words of criticism of the mixing. In this album I have some problems with clarity of drums. Also, I recently knew a new thing for me - double tracking of guitar. It's really cool technique. I didn't apply it in the "Kaleidoscope" album. So, I applied it in my new track, that is placed at: http://www.sendspace.com/file/nhsvs9

So, I need some feedback on this track, especially on the mixing. But, in my opinion drums became more clear. Also rhythm guitar is more powerful, because I used double tracking and compression. But, I know that there are a lot of mistakes in the new track.

Thanks.
