Hi All
just joined the site...looks awesome!
Looking for some help please?
Juno 106 bought from Ebay long time back, only just tried to turn on and there is nothing.
Looked around a few sites and they say that batteries go every two years.
Simple question but am a little dim, if the battery had gone, would that stop the machine from turning on or is the battery simply to store patches and voices?
anybody got any ideas?
Gratefully Yours

Nah, the battery is simply for retaining patch memory while powered down.
Might be worth flipping the top back and checking any fuses. I can't recall what's on the main board, but thinking there'll be fuses somewhere there (if not near the power entry point itself).
Which country / state are you in? Might be a qualified tech in your area that can take a snoop at it.

As said previously check fuses. Flip lid and you'll find 2 powerboards at the right hand end. Check the main one on the right and then the other 3 after the transformer

Yeah, strange huh? Might be related to the 'upload image' section being out of action. Let me report it...

;D
Um, let me try that again...

I got the notification but I'm not involved in any webdev here. Looks like a job for the Cheynasaurus...
Does he get notified as well?

I sure did
thanks for the heads up gents ..
I think it may have something to do with the encoding of the original image, corrupt exif data or something along those lines.
let me try upload my own image ...
**edit**
yup thought so ..
Try opening your jpeg image in something like paint, or photohop, some image editing application, then re-save as a new file (or in photoshop export for web) .. This should restamp the image with the correct meta data and stop it corrupting on upload.
