Hey guys, someone might know an easy way of opening a protools session in cubase. All i can think of is just importing the wav files used in the protools session manually into cubase. But that would take way too long. All i want to do is put them in cubase with some other cubase files so i can bounce the whole lot together.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

This was answered recently on a blog I frequent. However it doesn't allow you to use RTAS plug-ins. A better option would be to print stems to audio tracks within Pro Tools then export them as shown in this link.

Here is an article about printing to an audio track within Pro Tools. The example is for a master mix but you can use the same method to create stems.

if protools can export in OMF format you jus need to export in this format and then import OMF IN CUBASE. GREAT!!!!! If it works please send me an email to [email protected]
