Where can I buy a new MOTU Ultralite power pack ?  Mine is now emitting a loud hissing sound that wont stop.    Unplugged it and left it for almost a week,  replugged it and still loud hissing.

Now I have no audio interface :D

Just grab a 9v jobby with reversable polarity and yr cooking. If you like hit me an email and can sort you one of the proper ones if you need.

Mines rated at 15v - would 9v work?

Yup, it's 15VDC 1A - got mine right here. I never use mine either, run it off Firewire. But I'm selling the ultralite soon so need to sell it on.

Why not firewire bus power?

You know ,  I actually forgot about it being bus powered ... I switched it to mains power a while back as i was having issues and remembered someone recommending to switch to mains to eliminate problems..

I guess I could just keep using bus power ... Be one less power pack on my floor too ..
