Hi guys,

I’m taking my studio based Industrial/ Metal band live, where only the guitars, bass and vocals will be live; the rest (drums, strings, synths, samples etc.) will play through my Mac (G5) using Logic 7.

I need to be able to trigger events via Logic i.e. sync up and trigger videos/ projections and live lighting with the music via Logic using midi commands.

Does anyone out there currently use Logic this way or have a similar set up? I’ve never had a VJ/ video element in a band set up before, so not sure where to start.
I have looked into various different pieces of software, but not having experience in this, I’m at a bit of a loss. Here are some I’ve looked into:
