just curious if the dsp plugs you get with the mk 3 interfaces can be used in a vst ( or au) environment or are they tied to the cuemix software (ie can only be used on physical i/o rather than tracks in your DAW)

I know this doen't directly answer your question but the TC Konnekt 48 can. Just a reverb and two compressors - but they're good ones.

They're hooked in to the CuemixFX app - but there are virtual busses available in the mk3's routing setup so you can pipe audio from the app to the channels in Cuemix.

actuallu i just found the konnect 48 on novamusik for cheaper than the pro 40 delivered

I paid about $900 (from memory) with remote.
