Just received an email regarding a Mastering Class Workshop from Allans music if anyone is interested.
It looks like it covers some good topics and its free. Its on 4th August at 6:30pm.

Just had 2 x classes with Mr Briggs this year up at VU. The man's a MONSTER of all things audio IMO. Quirky mo-fo but, highly, highly knowledgable. I'm thinking about going just to get more pearls of wisdom - even though I've just had 2 x 12 week classes with him.

Strongly recommend this workshop. Briggsy's a bewdy in my book.

I spoke to David yesterday and apparently the workshop is almost booked out so people should get their skates on if they're thinking about it.

Yeah my mate rang Allans to try and book a spot  and they said there are only a few seats left.

Did anyone else go to this session. It was pretty good but it seemed quite advance.

I liked the explanation of the mid side technique for mastering and was impressed with the main music examples which showed the lack of sonic quality from such bands as coldplay and snow patrol.
