microkorg's been given a facelift and better keys... wonder if they've improved the synth? some more voices, etc?

Dunno yet....the audio in that youtube is shit, its like someone trying to get me to listen to something after I've has 16 beers.....and then get up the next day and remember what it sounded like :(

Yeah it looks old but is not.........but performance should be paramount. Nothing worse than a fashion victim synth that sounds like shit.

Well it looks a darn sight better than the original MicroKorg, but man, they really gotta step out of the 90s with something better than 4 voice / 2 parts...

...let's hope this one comes up with the goods.

Some more detail - seems it now boasts an r3/radias engine! owning a radias (which i'm about to sell before moving o/s), that is awesome in my books

I haven't really read much about this new model, except that it uses the R3 / RADIAS engine, and some Kaoss Pad effects. It just doesn't seem very desireable to me, though; I have an R3, which I love, and which has more voices, and I'll likely be getting a Kaoss Pad within the next year or so, so it kind of feels redundant to me.
