While highly unoriginal, the truth is i want my music to sound just like this guys.

http://www.tippermusic.net/

If you'd like to have a listen to the album "wobble factor" on that site, you'll know what i mean.

It's just so nasty and awesome.

My question is, i have

1.  MPC1000
2.  Novation BassStation
3.  Turntable for sampling stuff.

Do i have the necessary ingredients for making this ball tearing music?  And if i don't, what is my missing ingredient?  (besides talent)

I'm guessing this guy is a synth programming genius and i guess i fall down in that area.

Any advice on how he gets his crazy sound appreciated.

Peace out

Heya, yeah Tipper rocks. There's no real reason why you couldn't make music like that from just those three things, given the right records to sample from. You can layer up different synth loops on the MPC as well as tracking drum samples. Your bass-Station has patch storage so you can go back and change synth patches at your leisure. My biggest advice is to just really spend a long long time with your synth and get to know it inside out so that when you think of a sound you can make it. Remember to save cool bits when you come up with them as starting points to go back to later :)

I assume you have a decent puta and audio interface? You'll need these for recording and mixing and adding FX. They'll be next on your list if not.

I reckon he is using the moog plugin synths for his bass sounds and samples for the rest should be achievable with a bit of dedication. If ya like that stuff check out bass necter or spoonbill.
