Previously hosted in the Files section of the MC505 yahoo group, here's a colourful li'l tutorial a mate and I compiled while replacing a couple of faulty LCDs in a couple of MC-505s several years back.

Worth viewing just to see our ugly mugs!

Hello. What are the specifications for the replacement LCD for the Roland MC 505? Is there a part number I should look for or do you possibly have any suggestions? Please help me out...

I've got a great fix for the MC-505 and JX-305 LCd problem.

Its cheaper and cooler than a replacement from Roland.
