Inspired by recent threads here and at itm, here's some links to free QuickTime components for all the Mac users out there. Expand the power of Quicktime with these handy utils:

Various components at Apple:

DivX component - play DivX encoded AVI's:

Xiph components - play Ogg Vorbis and FLAC files (also supports iTunes playback):

Winmedia components - play all wmv and wma v9 and 10 files*:

*not does not read Windows DRM protected files
