i'm thinking of getting a patchbay to keep everything organised a bit better

i'd want to have it hooked up to ultralite ins and outs and make life a bit easier when setting things up

any recomendations or any tips on what i should look for?

Seriously funny - I was thinking the exact same thing today. I'm just gonna grab a Deadringer or equivalent to have a crack and see how it works out - they're cheap as crap. Even a 2nd handy as long as it's got 1/4" - I see them in specials bins in shops for peanuts all the time.

i reckon their patchbays are pretty good value - cost fuck all and they actually work (tho how hard is it to make a patchbay?)

I'd be lookin for balanced patchbays myself...with easy switching -my samson is a kunt to swap from normal to half-normal etc, gotta pull the little cards out and swap em round

ghey

i picked up a behringer one second hand for about $40, very handy for organization and gets you thinking more  about trying new routings etc. For the cash, you can't really go wrong.

Nah Peak is shithouse - even worse than Behringer - but it's a freaking patchbay so who cares?!

Im selling a Bger patchbay if anyone wants ;) Only ever used it for my MPC and DrumStation multi-outs, but these days everything i need is patched into the console directly. Time to go PB!
