Yup, makes a bit of sense don't it... Yamaha own it, might as well sell it too!
As of July 1 Yamaha Music Australia will be responsible for all aspects of the Steinberg business in Australia - not musiclink
I've always had awesome service from Sammy, Sean and all the guys @ 'link - lets hope Yamaha don't drop the ball...

OFF TOPIC
Speaking of Yamaha...
Hey CT, did I hear it right that Yamaha are doing a new e-Kit? Or is just the snare they've grabbed from the top end model and slapped it on the entry? Sorry, google doesn't come up with anything more...

Nice work if you can get it! ;D
What's the everyday low price on the DTXTREME III?
I think the one I was referring to is this...
http://www.yamaha.co...47&CTID=5040587
...but no MIDI input? So no recording patterns into a sequencer and playing 'em back?
Shame, Yamaha, shame!

Extreme III is around the $5500 mark
i've gotta setup the expressIV tommorow (its in boxes out the back) cept mines the standard and not the special
and yeah, dunno why no midi in... its on the extreme series (but for $6 g you would want it to make breakfast too)
