I have just moved my Apple loops folder to a external drive and for the life of me i can not get Logic to find the new folder. Does anyone know what i can do so i get logic to find the folder again, without having to install them again.

Hi Will, and welcome to SP!
Someone with more specific Logic knowledge may have a better idea but off the top of my head, if you can remember where the original folder resided, try making an alias of the loops folder on your external drive and move the alias back to the original folder it was first in. Make sure to keep the same folder name for the alias - it might trick Logic into believing the folder is there...
Otherwise kraekl and a few others float round here and are Logic buffs so come back soon

the other thing worth noting is that you can just import Apple loops in the ordinary "Import Audio File" way (ie. without using the "Loop Browser") - they'll still be synced to the song tempo. Possibly this doesn't meet all your needs, but it's what I get by on!
