How do I stop previews in the sample browser?

So far the only way I've figured out how to do it is to switch focus to another application - not ideal.

Simple problem should have simple solution. Checked manual, googled, nothing.

turn off the little blue headphone icon at the top of the browser

Oh, yeah but specifically I'm looking for a keyboard command to do that.
