;)  Yea not a bad price …    The absolute best possible price I could find else where was  $2,080  and that would of meant having it shipped from the states for an ex-demo model ..  Least this way I can just drive to this guys house and pick it up..   not to mention I really didn’t want to have a $2000 synth posted overseas, even if it is VA.

I figure , at least at this price .. I can twiddle some knobs for a while , and decide whether or not I really need such a piece of hardware , and if not , I can sell it back for the same price I bought it at ..

Cheers ;)

iv been wanting some sort of work horse hard synth for a while ..  I thought of many others, but could always picture them getting put away on the shelf ...  The virus's always seem to have a purpose , even if its not a lead sound , and just for squeaks and bleeps . so i opted for it..

I dont own much other hard synths ,  just an x-station , and a korg EMX1 ,  Iv always used soft synths ..  and with awesome soft's like  Fab filter twin , iv never had a problem ...  but theres a distinct lack of knobs to twiddle ...  I need knobs .. .  I dig knobs ...

Congrats on your spendage, synth whore. Uncle Jester has now made available his patented cure for synthiction - death. You can buy some from me now, or wait until your missus finds out ;D Or, i can sell you my patented all sizes fit valentines bow and you can give the syntherage to her...

I know, i just commited a sin. 3 hail marrys and one stroke of the rosary beads for me.

Enjoy! You wont part with it once you figure it out ;)

Good...

...'cause I'm sick of hearing about it! ;)

Schweet. And a top price for a top synth.

Keen to hear how well the TI well totally integrates too.

If one of the second series Racks came up for cheap, I'd hit it.

;D  Ill stop winging about it now ..

I might actually learn this one .. I tend to just be a filter whore on soft synths and never actually learn them inside out ;)

When I first got into programming synths... it was also all about filter... for *that* ('scuse the pun) DJ Misjah & DJ Tim - Access acid build/peak!!!

But the Virus has the oh-so-lovely saturation control... so it's more than just a filter. ;)
