There are some manufacturers that cover the acoustic foam/ material with painted canvas so it ends up looking like artwork. You can even specify what you want printed on the canvas.

Googled these though they are a bit pricey.

They may not be cheap, but they do look great and would look beautiful in a room/ studio.

Apparently, canvas is not an ideal material to cover the foam/ acoustic panel as the dense fabric is not sound absorbing.
