hi my bassstation rack is displaying 88 on turning on.
All i get is 11, 22, 33, 44 etc when entering numbers. The controller knobs do not work and yet i can control the values if i use an external controller and i get sounds via an external keyboard.
Anyone got any idea how i can fix this?

Hey mate, welcome to soundpunk! I'd bet there's some minor electronic issue. If you're getting sound with an external controller then you know the guts are still ok.

Best bet=get it to a service joint ASAP while the problem is still young!

Still young ;D

OK - most problems with the BassStation revolve around a failed or failing PSU. Go to Dick Smith Electronics (if you're in Australia) and buy a 1 Amp Regulated 9V DC power supply. It'll set you back about $20, and i'd be surprised if it didn't fix the problem. I had issues with my BS about 18 months ago, sent an email to Novation in the UK, and that's what they told me about it - get the PSU replaced first.

If the problem is still there with a new power supply, fire an email off to novation with the symptoms. They're very helpful, even though you're welllllll out of warranty ;)
