Nice one... Garageband's lookin' great...

and so are those iMacs... if I didn't need 'shove-it-in-ya-bag' portability, anything from that new range would superb. Great pricing too! Could save oneself a grand and score an extra 9".

And who wouldn't want to save a $1000 and gain an extra 9 inches, huh?

Garageband is pretty cool, its all i have to play with at the moment, besides watching back episodes of entourage.

I have made some cool little loops that i intend on breaking up and playing with once i decide on a new sequencer.

Now GB's looking like a contender for quick and easy tunes. The arranger is perfect for 99% of dance tracks and most pop/rock, automation at last, visual EQ, looking good! And for a $99 upgrade that includes new iLife everything. Might have to get it. Jeez I',m sounding like an ad  ;)

Dunno about magic band though, but good for students and kids practicing guitar etc. I've just never been a fan of auto-accompaniment apps, and to me this is just a variant on band-in-a-box.

having just bought my first mac laptop, the first thing i had a play with was garageband.
i don't have many instruments ( well that can be used with the computer anyway) so
it was more just listening and recording vocal..but then my first assignment for music
technology was creating my own tracks on garage band at school using a midi keyboard.
i absolutely loved it and can not wait to get my own keyboard so i can have a play at home.
