I stopped watching entirely (closed window, never going back) in episode 2 when they took the opportunity to whore out some sad lame software ripoff JP-8 when howard jones was talking about his JP-8s he used to use. And explicitly contradicting what he was saying in the interview, as to not upset their shitty corporate advertising customer.

piss.
weak.

plus I find the whole tone of the thing patronising, anyway.

Besides the VST sell thing, the interviews are ones I've never seen. Its all based on a voting system so I spose it all depends on who's a member of SonicState and voted....I know I'm not

I just go there on occasion for rough specs etc.

Lookin out for episode 5 though ;)

Yeah, Sonic State's lost much of its momentum in recent years, with http://www.the-gas-station.com/ really slowing down. Used to be one of the bigger producer forums on the net.

i read about this on createdigitalmusic and they said there had been some controversial rankings made, there is meant to be a pretty heated debate in the comments of each movie.

I liked the comments on the DX7.'No one likes a DX7 but its still a totally untapped resource and is capable a very dynamic synthesis if you know how to get it .
