Just to keep things moving along, here's some pics of what I'm up to...
I've pulled everything out of my room to clean things up, and plan on putting it together properly once and for good.
Firstly, the procrastination station:

Only web surfing and music listening here, haven't even reinstalled audio progs on to the 2nd Windows partition.

This is where the hardware setup's going, a nice clean desk space.:

Note it's the same desk that the PC is on, a monsterous 3.5m x 3m "L" shape from joining two modular desks together.
Car sub is fooly shick bro, bought it for dirt cheap (impulse buy) and I'll worry about a purpose for it later. Right now it's a great footrest.

And... the noisy toys:

My bro is OS for a few months so his room makes for good temporary storage. Piles of stuff everywhere. The kit is going to be melded with my younger brothers acoustic kit (pics of that to come later). The rest will end up on/in/around the big grey rack I welded up that's standing in the corner.

It'll take at least a month to get everything together and working how I want, being overly pedantic will pay off though. Just a shame I'll produce utter shite  :
