My mate has a TI which for some reason i just had to talk him out of selling it....  ;)
Love the sound the Access stuff has. I havent had a real chance to muck around with one
though either, though i remember looking at one lustfully last time i was at turramusic....

Yea i think id kill for a TI ...

After i knock the Mac Book Pro off my list of "must have" items , i think the TI will be next on the list ....

For now , ill just have to listen to everyone else about how good they are ...  ;)

Yeah i have thought about holding off until then but im far too impatient for things like that,
especially when apple is soo bloody cagey about release dates and so forth.

Release date is set at late March for Leopard ;)

Id hold out just another few weeks if I was you ...

My boss bought a Mac Book Pro , and then a week later the Core 2 Duo MBP's came out for the same price ...  his Mac Book instantly lost about $700 in value  ...      Needless to say he wasnt too happy !  ;D

1st post, so HI ALL!!  ;)

So... fave hard synth.... has got to be my HUGE coffin... the Korg DSS1.

One of the most underated synths at the time... a sampling, analogue digital synth with some of the best filters in the business(well the best that korg ever produced). This 18 kilo baby can do some amazing things... want some lush analogue pads.... easy peasy... want it to scream like a 303... it screams like a bitch... bass sounds... 'ave it!!

Can you tell I like it!! ;D

Other faves from times gone by... Korg MS20, OSCar, Emu Emulator series, Fairlight to name but a few.

Wow a DSS1 , what a unit :D  ...  Iv never used one but iv heard of them ...  Id love to hear something you've done with it :)

I love the MS20 , although I only use the legacy collection one currently  ....  Iv heard the OSCar's too :)  Awesome machines huh ? ..      such a hardware addiction  :-* :)

the DSS1 only cost me a tenner.... that was for the courier. I was given it, one of the chaps kindly donated it as he didn't have any room for it....seriously.... it is 'kin HUGE!!

Beleive it or not, I haven't used it for tunes as yet. My DMX 6Fire soundcard sort of didn't play nice (the ribbon cable connecting the card to the breakout died). I only got it working fully the other day. So once I get a few MIDI cables I'll have it running through my PC, and the good thing is there is some cracking software that I can use that will make my PC think it is a VSTi (MIDIQUEST).

If anybody want's to listen to any of my tunes(mainly trance orientated), feel free to have a listen HERE

Tenner ??! ..  Jeebuz ... thats awesome ...

Yea it looks like a massive unit huh ? ...  I wouldnt have room for it either ... my room is packed ,  my x-station sits about 5 cm away from my PC keyboard as it is ...    its cramped  :-    need a new room ;)

I keep pestering the wife for the back bedroom so I can setup a dedicated studio..... needless to say, the DSS1 only shows up on special occasions and when I mention the room the answer usually ends in "...... OFF". I'm working with an Oxygen 8 which is a cracking little midi keyboard as it fits on my desk nicely.

;D  ..  Yea iv already taken up a 2nd room ! ..  Cept its all decked out with DJ gear that I hardly use anymore ...  and really only gets used when a party seems to break out at my house ...

Instead i have all my gear crammed on a standard office sized corner stone desk in my bedroom ... including 4 guitars placed strategically around the room  lol ...    along with mountains of network hardware sprawled on the floor ..
