  1. The Daily Adventures of Mixerman is now available as an audiobook. What happens when you take the unauthorized diary of the recording session that shook the music industry, and have it performed by the industry itself? You get one of the most entertaining audiobooks on the market. With 1930s radio and Firesign Theatre in mind, Producer Aardvark and Mixerman set forth to create a full unabridged dramatization of this popular story. Complete with music, musical character motifs (ala Peter and the Wolf), foley, sound effects, and performances by some of the most well known and admired producers and mixers in the business, including: Ken Scott (The Beatles), Dave Pensado (Christina Aguillerra), Ed Cherney (Better Midler), Ron Saint Germain (U2), Jeff Lorber (Dave Koz), Joe McGrath (AFI), Dylan Dresdow (Black-Eyed Peas), William Wittman (Cyndi Lauper), Kenny Gioia (Daryl Hall & John Oates) Julian Bunetta (Hillary Duff), JP Plunier (Ben Harper), and Bob Ohllsson (Jackson 5); the two record-makers deliver an astoundingly entertaining product that is sure to provide listeners with hours of pure unadulterated enjoyment. In other words, this is not your father's audiobook. It's your great grandfathers! With a modern spin, of course. Watch the trailer! Enjoy, Mixerman
  2. Hey Everyone, I thought I'd take a moment and let you all know about Mixerman Chronicles - a television show based on The Daily Adventures of Mixerman. We need your help. Please take a moment to check it out at IndieGoGo. Enjoy, Mixerman http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/mixerman-chronicles/x/528146
  3. Hey Everyone! As promised, I'm here to let you know the Daily Adventures of Mixerman is available in North America. I will return the moment it's available in Oz. Enjoy, Mixerman
  4. I'll be sure to let you guys know. The book will almost definitely be available in Australia. Unfortunately, I'm pretty certain it will be a few months behind the release date for the US. It'll be for sale on Amazon, but I'm sure the shipping will be outrageous. Whenever I had to ship a book to Australia, it cost me around $19, which I had to pass on to the buyer. Anyone who has a First Edition copy of that book, paid about $40 US for it. I would like to see my Aussie bretheren get it for considerably less than that. Enjoy, Mixerman
  5. Oh boy...now I'm going to be the darling of the Melbourners, and hated by the Sydnians. Can't we all just get along? I'm rather partial to St. Kilda. Love it there, although I must admit, I root for Essendon in footy. Love the footy. The first time I walked out of the game, I just couldn't stop yelling "BAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!" My Aussie friends always die laughing when I talk about smokin' a fatty before the footy. Put another shrimp on the barbie? PRAWN! Enjoy, Mixerman
  6. Well Hey! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I thought this was an Aussie loaded board. Just FYI, I love your country. I've spent more than 3 months in Oz on various occasions. Mostly in Melbourne, which I just fucking love. I'll let you know when there is more information regarding the book, and I'll poke around the site a little. Enjoy, Mixerman
  7. You can't believe everything you read on the internet, my man. As to my story: It's all true. I just thought I'd let you guys know that The Daily Adventures of Mixerman is being released in the Spring of 2009 on Hal Leonard's Backbeat Books imprint. It should be available all over the world sometime after that. When I have some exact dates, and so long as it's okay with the moderators of the board, I'll come back and post it up. If you missed getting a first edition copy, don't miss getting a second edition copy! Enjoy, Mixerman
